Color Pallette for Home Design
Huh.
I know this is a fashion photograph, but when I look at it all I can see is a couch in that grey color with coral throw pillows and dark turquoise/silver lamp.

thirteen ounces or less
Did you know that standard postage rates apply to ANYTHING that weighs 13 ounces or less?
Did you know that if you stick enough postage and an address on a random object, the US Postal System will deliver it like a normal letter?
Do you want to run out right now and start mailing silly putty to everyone?
ME TOO.
AmberLee over at Giverslog has been conducting experiments to test this very principle. Check out some of her successes here!

Rachael & Nolan!
Today my dear friends Rachael and Nolan are getting married!
(ps. They've planned a Gatsby-esque vintage-y wedding, can't wait to see how it turns out!)
Rachael has been my dearest friend here in California since I moved back from New York. Nolan and I grew up together - hassling each other mercilessly, but lovingly, since the age of 10.
I arranged their first real date and take full credit for their relationship.
Congratulations dear friends! Husband and I wish you all the best.

Henna
I have a fascination with the art of henna. I'd like to learn more about it.
One of my co-workers and dear friends from New York was from India and she attended a few weddings while we worked together. She would come back to work with the most interesting designs on her hands.

Beautiful Wedding Dress
Another one for Chelsea.
(Ps. Chelsea is my adorable and talented cousin who just got engaged. Congrats Chels! All of a sudden I'm into weddings again.)

the knife in the key
Because I love miniature knives hidden in normal/awkward looking objects.
(Image is from here, but I have not yet figured out how to obtain this little gem of an invention.)

A stop and stare wedding dress
I think this wedding dress is stunning beyond description.
Ooo. Chelsea, if you're reading this, that dress would look awesome on you.

Husband's Favorite Breakfast Shake
I am more of a berries and vanilla kind of girl, but Husband is all about the variations on a chocolate theme.
Right now we only have chocolate proteing powder in the house, so Husband wins. (I don't mind, he lets me win most of the time.) Therefore, this breakfast shake has been featuring prominently at our place this week... And its got me thinking... Berries?... What berries?
It is super delicious, keeps me full all morning, healthy (I heart sneeky vegetables), and a single serving comes in at about 220 calories. OH, and it has 5 ingredients.
Husband's Favorite Breakfast Shake (serves 2)
1 cup skim milk
1 banana, large
1 c. pumpkin puree (we have this separated into little baggies in the freezer from last fall when I attempted to make my own pumpkin puree)
1 Tbs peanut butter
1 scoop chocolate whey protein
ice cubes to taste (I like 3-4 just to make it chilled)
1. Toss ingredients into a blender.
2. Blend.
