THE hair tutorial of all hair tutorials

This hair tutorial was posted by everyone and their dog back during the holidays. And in an effort to stay off the band wagon I refused to post it... But I haven't stopped thinking about it. So now that its been a few months I'm hoping its a little bit more fresh. It sure is stunning.

Three Knots

I was seized with a desire to do something new with my hair yesterday, so I tried out the twisted-buns tutorial Joanna posted last week. Loved it. It was easy, fast, and classy looking - which beats my late-afternoon messy ponytail standard.

Dip Dyed Hair

I am obnoxiously indecisive about my hair. Luckily, my budget has made this choice for me and my current color is au natural.

Hair Fade

1. I love this outfit that she is wearing.

2. I've been growing my hair out, trying to get to a point where I don't have to color it anymore. Just for funsies... since I've been coloring my hair since I was 15 I thought it might be nice to see what my natural color is. I was about ready to throw in the towel this week though and just go get highlights, but I love her hair so much in this shot that I'm going to hang on. Just a few more months and I'll look like I have a cool faded look going on and not just really really bad roots.

I wear a lot of black. It is classy, flattering, minimalist... the ulitmate in sophistication, as far as colors go.

It's shots like this that make me want to keep up my monochromatic color palette, and to keep growing my hair out until reaches my elbows.
