The Kennedys

I recently watched the controversial mini-series about the Kennedys.

I thought it was superbly done and I'm not really sure why it was so controversial. I've been fascinated with Jack and Jackie ever since. I highly recommend it.

Let it go, but watch your back

Ask not what your country can do for you

Inspired by the fantastic typography on the Google homepage today, I listened to the Kennedy inaugural address this afternoon. I was moved and inspired, so I wanted to share it here.

"Now the trumpet summons us again -- not as a call to bear arms, though arms we need -- not as a call to battle, though embattled we are -- but a call to bear the burden of a long twilight struggle, year in and year out, "rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation," a struggle against the common enemies of man: tyranny, poverty, disease, and war itself."

God Bless America.
