My thoughts on seeing this picture:

1) I'm pretty sure I have that jacket she's wearing.
2) Aw, I want to watch the Breakfast Club.
3) There should be more trains in the States.

This is how husband and I spent Valentine's Day

These are now framed and hanging in our kitchen.

We did these at our favorite toy store Blickenstaff's. We went around the store and collected props and then used their fun little photo booth.

It was fun, memorable and simple.

Shark Attack

This is my husband holding his birthday present... A 3 ft long stuffed shark.

In our front room we have two couches that face each other, and when we are watching TV, we each take our own couch.

Lately, in the middle of an episode of whatever we are watching on Netflix, one of us will yell out, "Shark attack!" and throw the shark across the room at the other one. Then that person will calmly hold the shark until the other one lets their guard down, and then proceeds to respond in a like manner.

This will go on for hours.

Because we're cool like that.

The funniest thing happened the other day. Someone apologized to me for reading my blog.

Huh?

Yeah, aparently they found my blog through facebook, or through a link that a friend had sent them, and they wanted to know if it was ok if they read my blog, even thought I hadn't invited them to.

The answer is, by all means, OF COURSE.

I have this blog because it makes me happy. It lacks focus, it lacks a unifying theme, and I am not a creative genius sharing my brilliant ideas; but its purpose is for me to share anything that I stumble across that I find facinating, inspiring, funny or just plain happy.

And the truth is, the more followers I have, the happier it makes me! Because THAT means that more people are also laughing, being inspiried and getting happy along with me.

So please, even if I've never met you, welcome! Share the posts, share the love, invite your friends to check it out, officially declare yourself a follower and I hope the things that make me happy will make you happy to.

Aaaaaaaand, we're back!

I could say I'm glad to be back, but I'd be lying. I could also say that I'm completely happy, and that would be true.
The wedding was fabulous, our honeymoon was wonderful and I absolutely love being married to IKF.

Even though I'd rather be on a beach with a book and my new husband, I do have lots and lots of fun things to report on and share... Including a wedding picture preview and some fun stories. Come back soon!

Surprise Ball

I love this idea. It's called a Surprise Ball.

It is a series of little vintage trinkets wrapped up in yards and yards of crepe paper and confetti, so you keep getting new surprises as it is unwrapped.

I would probably use something different than vintage trinkets, but I would love to give a gift wrapped up like this!

Forget a rocking horse, I want a rocking alligator...

Secret Playroom

I WILL have a secret playroom entrance disguised in a wardrobe in my house someday. Like this one featured on Apartment Therapy.
