We Got Some Brains In This Family

We found out this morning that my brother got a 2250 on the SAT. Back when I took the test the scoring was different, so I had to look up some information on the new scoring system and this is what I found:

I'm totally going to go fill his room with ivy (not the poisonous kind) and leave a sweater with elbow patches on his bed. And possibly also a copy of the Oxford English Dictionary.

(Well done sir. Very well done.)

The Boys

Today my brothers started school.

For Sam this is the beginning of his senior year. For Seth this is his first day of high school.

Not to be sentimental or anything, but geez. I watched these little guys grow up, you know? I'm 10 and 13 years older than them. I was there for the start of Kindergarten, when their lost their first tooth, I made them mac n cheese and put on Dumbo for them to watch over and over again.

It is even more fun to know them as grown up people though... To watch them develop personalities and accomplishments and trademarks all their own. They are remarkable people. Impressive in every way. I'm so proud of them.

Good luck guys. Love you.
