I went the more traditional and very sparkly route. I've been wearing it for almost a year now and it still makes me giggle like a little girl I love it so much.
What sort of ring do you have or want? Do you prefer something classic? Something modern? Or would you skip the stone altogether and go with something plain and petite?
Nick got me a lovely diamond with channel setting diamonds down the side. the REALLY cool part is that it's a conflict-free diamond, mined in Canada (no blood diamonds) and the platinum is recycled! AND the company brilliantearth.com gives a percentage of its profits to African tribes to recompense them for the atrocities of diamond harvesting. Go him!

ReplyDeleteJamie - My friend's fiancee got her ring at a local store called Emerson & Farrar (http://www.emersonandfarrar.com/)... He just picked a setting that he liked and then had them put in a pearl instead of a diamond.
