Fly Fly

Husband and I just returned from a short trip home. There is something about breaking routines and traveling that I find rejuvenating. It works better if I'm traveling someplace new, but it still words if I've gone someplace familiar.

Maybe its the change in perspective? Somehow, by removing myself from my everyday places, I remember that the world is a big ol' place and my problems seems smaller and my possibilities seem bigger.

When I get into a serious funk, I get the most intense desire to stuff some jeans and a tooth brush in a backpack and hop the next flight to Europe. Does anyone else have that instinct?
