Autumn Deep

Some people get sad in the autumn because they feel like everything around them is dying. I love autumn because it is the struggle just before everything is reborn.

I'm ready!

I'm ready for ski season, but I'm afraid it won't arrive for quite some time. This is what I get for living in Southern California... palm trees, blue skies, 75 degress and sunny in November.

I know it sounds idyllic, but after experiencing the broad range of seasons on the east coast I am longing for my trench coat and scarf clad autumn days.

Next year (fingers crossed!) I'll be in a place where ski seasons begins at a reasonable time... like, before January.
