First Stop: The Beach

The beaches in Newport are the kind that the songs are about... guys skateboarding with a surf board under one arm, jeep convertibles full of girls in sunglasses blasting Katy Perry, burger joints, the Fun Zone.

The first stop on my honeymoon wish list is to spend a day on the sand with a really good book. I have a feeling IKF will support this plan.

Honeymoon!

IKF and decided to spend our honeymoon in Newport Beach. We'll be staying at the gorgeous, recently renovated Marriott in the Newport Center. Which happens to be directly across from Fashion Island and my favorite restaurant, El Torrito Grill.
