Happiness is Homemade
I was talking to some wonderful and interesting women last night who are farther along in this whole marriage and babies thing than I am. It was nice to hear some reasonable advice and encouragement. I walked away feeling really really happy and grateful to be starting a family of my own (just to clarify, for now I mean me and my husband, I AM NOT preggers.)

Le Creuset
Since I've *gotten all into cooking* lately I've also started falling in love with beautiful cookware. Le Creuset has stolen my heart with all of their beautiful colors. I mean seriously, flame?! Awesome.
Of course on my cute-little-young-married budget these are not on my immediate to-buy list, but hey, Christmas approacheth.

I Am Mr. Darcy
I'm wondering how many nights of dishes I'd have to trade to get my husband to wear this shirt. Because I looooove it.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
We saw the new Wall Street movie over the weekend. I enjoyed it as a sort of historical fiction take on the 2008 market crash. Thank goodness for my MBA in Finance though, or I may not have understood half of what was going on. The acting was also superb. Carey Mulligan is the new Kate Blanchett.

Anything you can do, I can do better.
It is not the better part of my nature, but I confess that I sometimes have the urge to do things just to prove to myself I can do them... better. Competitive much? Nooooo.

If in doubt, bake a cake.
I am sorely tempted to get this print, put it in a giant frame, and design my kitchen around it.
Truer words were never spoken.
